For churches and ministries

More time for ministry.Less in the office.

The church office never stops: calls about services, weddings and funerals, volunteer schedules, giving statements and the slides for Sunday. Ministries and nonprofits are one of the industries Jordyn is built for, and the rest of the toolkit handles the video and the slides.

Questions

Good to know

Does Jordyn understand churches?

Ministries and nonprofits are one of the industries Jordyn lists on its own site. It then learns your services, your staff and how you like things said.

What should giving statements say?

For a single gift of $250 or more, the IRS requires a written acknowledgment that says whether anything was given in return; a church can state that only intangible religious benefits were provided. Our gift acknowledgment guide has the details.

Do churches have to register to ask for donations?

Many states exempt religious organizations from charitable solicitation registration, but not all, and the exemptions differ. Our registration guide explains how to check.
